Privacy Policy

When you use Yorick, we store the following:

Account Linking

• Your Discord user ID (to identify your account)
• Your Riot PUUID, Game Name, and Tag Line (to look up your League stats)
• Your encrypted Summoner ID (for rank lookups)

Server Features

• Server (guild) ID and configuration settings
• Bounty channel preferences and custom currency names
• Your currency balance and transaction history within each server
• Bounty claims (which quests you completed and when)
• Your current rank and last sync time (for Rank Sync feature)

Billing (Prime Subscribers)

• Stripe customer and subscription IDs (we never see your full card number)

Website Analytics

• Page views on public pages only (dashboard pages are excluded)
• A hashed version of your IP address (we never store your actual IP)
• We do NOT use cookies for tracking
• We do NOT use third-party analytics services

• Your Discord messages or DMs
• Your email address (unless you contact us)
• Your real name or location
• Your match history (we fetch it on-demand from Riot, then discard it)
• Your IP address in plaintext (always hashed)

• To link your Discord and Riot accounts so commands work
• To track your bounty progress and currency across servers
• To sync your League rank to Discord roles
• To process Prime subscriptions through Stripe
• To understand how people use Yorick (aggregate analytics only)

We do NOT use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than making Yorick work.

• Your data is kept as long as you use Yorick
• When you unlink your account (/link → Unlink button), your Riot account info is removed
• When Yorick is removed from a server, that server's data is soft-deleted and permanently removed after 30 days
• If you re-add Yorick within 30 days, your server data can be restored

Yorick interacts with these external services:

• Discord — We receive your Discord ID when you use commands
• Riot Games API — We fetch your League of Legends stats (match history, rank, summoner info)
• Stripe — Handles Prime subscription payments (we never see your full card details)

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them:

You can:

• Unlink your Riot account anytime using the /link command → Unlink button
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Request complete deletion of your data by contacting us
• Remove Yorick from your server to trigger data deletion (after 30-day retention)

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database
• Sensitive identifiers are hashed in logs (never plaintext)
• IP addresses are hashed before storage
• Database connections use SSL in production
• We use prepared statements to prevent SQL injection

Yorick is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements of both Discord (13+) and League of Legends (varies by region, typically 13+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under these age limits.

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For major changes, we may also post an announcement in our Discord support server.
